Simply Farmhouse Homemade Vegetable Soup (5*'s)

This recipe is my own recipe, I just toss together what I think would be great together.

My family gives this soup five stars *****.  With fall right around the corner it is time
to bring out the soups recipes to give our homes that warm cozy feeling.🌻

Serving it with your favorite bread or with homemade cornbread covered in heaps of butter.  yum!

 Enjoy!  (copy and print)

Simply Farmhouse Homemade Vegetable Soup  (I use all organic ingredients)

1- 1 1/2 pds of ground beef
1 onion chopped
1 green bell pepper chopped
3-4 med carrots shredded      (I use a hand grater)
1 garlic clove peeled and diced
1 tsp of salt ( or to your taste)
1/2 tsp of pepper
1/2 tsp chili powered
1/2 tsp turmeric   (op, I add this for our health it fights cancer)
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp of mustard

1/2 cup of HONEY
1 can of diced tomatoes
1/2 cup of ketchup
1 box of BONE broth   ( I only use bone broth it is excellent for your health)
2 small (frozen) bag of organic peas
2 small (frozen) bag of organic corn   ( frozen is better for you than can)

1. Brown the ground beef , onions, garlic, bell pepper in 2 TBSP of coconut oil.
Brown over med-heat.

2. Add salt, pepper, chili powder, turmeric, cumin, mustard, honey. Stir until thoroughly mixed.

3. Add tomatoes, ketchup, bone broth, corn and peas.

4. Bring to a boil- reduce heat on med-low stirring occasionally simmer for 30 mins or longer.
Serve with your favorite bread.  Serves 4-6.  It is even better the next day!

This recipe can be easily double.  It can be cooked then simmered in a crock pot all day. I love simmering mine in the dutch case iron soup pot.

The longer you simmer this soup the better it gets.

Blessings, from our Farmhouse to your home.

Simply Farmhouse Banana Cupcakes with Cinnamon Icing

Watching our grandson one afternoon I heard a noise in the kitchen. When I peeked within, the grandson where biting off the heads of the cupcakes and licking the icing off the other ones. When they looked up to see me, they quickly tossed the banana cupcakes in to the cover lid of the cake holder. There eyes where big and cupcake icing covered their faces. The oldest grandson Wyatt jumped down from the bar and said "Walker did it."  I could not stop laughing at these boys.  The cupcakes have their approval on them that is for sure.  I just wished I got a picture of them.

Chocolate Pudding Cake

My husbands grandmother Della was an old fashioned country cook.  This was one of her amazing desserts.  If you are in the mood for something very chocolate and very sweet. Then you will love this chocolate pudding cake.  When you first make it you may think it is odd to pour water all over the dry batter before placing it in the oven.  It sounds crazy, but the water poured over the dry batter (no stirring) makes the pudding.    Beware! It is hard to stop at one piece.
