My Handmade Farmhouse

Hello, Friends,  These photos are of my homemade and handmade farmhouse in time past.
Enjoy!  I hope just for a moment all your cares fade away.

Nothing says farmhouse like a couple of loaves of homemade white bread...fresh from the oven.

 Blackberries from the farm

In a simple-lived life, we must take the time to notice even the smallest details... in our everyday life.

Farmhouse life is still homemade.

Thank you for coming by and seeing life in my handmade farmhouse.

  2. Beautiful moments captured! I can't believe summer is halfway through...but that means we still have half of summer left. The tomatoes and peppers are just about to start coming on here, which will mean a lot of canning! Looking forward to it :)

    1. Thank you Bekah, It is hard to believe that summer is passing by quickly ~ O I hope you will be able to can your harvest!! Will you make salsa? My garden seems to just be sitting there~ to much rain this summer in our area. So, I am not sure if there will be anything to can this summer. Have a wonderful evening!

    2. Yes! Salsa, spaghetti sauce and stewed tomatoes are typically what I can with tomatoes. There is a nearby farm where I can buy boxes of organic tomatoes to add to what I have grown. Our plants are loaded now, but I know I could not currently grow enough for what I would like to can...so I am thankful for area farmers!
Our spring started off really cold and wet, so many people had a tough start with their tomatoes and peppers here in the Pacific Northwest. But things have warmed up and are doing well. The only thing that hasn't done well for me this year is our corn. But corn is never a for sure thing in our garden, so we grow it knowing it may not actually do well. It's still fun to try!
