My kind of day! I worked on painting kitchen cabinets, Chuck used the chainsaw to cut up a downed branch and Megan played outside all day. She dug in the garden, gathered worms and got dirty. I enjoyed stepping on the back porch now and then to wave at her. :) We had dinner with my parents and are now watching a Sugar Creek Gang DVD. Your salad looks wonderful!!

ReplyDeleteHere in Northern Ca. we have been blessed with much needed rain! My Saturday consisted of doing essentials, but because of the wind and rain, I was content to watch a Craftsy class and try to finish an Afghan....it was a day of relaxation, peace and thankfulness.

Your breakfast is our kind of breakfast here too... nothing like biscuits and gray with farm fresh eggs! I loved your salad, the pictures you took are amazing. And the homemade lemonade - yum! I love your house, it is so beautiful and simple in design. I also spotted a Pioneer Woman plate... love love LOVE her style! I haven't bought any of her line yet, but I do have it on my wish list!
