A day at the Farmhouse

An entire day spent at home. No other place I would rather be then at home.

  1. My kind of day! I worked on painting kitchen cabinets, Chuck used the chainsaw to cut up a downed branch and Megan played outside all day. She dug in the garden, gathered worms and got dirty. I enjoyed stepping on the back porch now and then to wave at her. :) We had dinner with my parents and are now watching a Sugar Creek Gang DVD. Your salad looks wonderful!!

  2. Your day sounds like a sample of heaven! These are days to recall, when life gets a bit hurried and stressful.

Here in Northern Ca. we have been blessed with much needed rain! My Saturday consisted of doing essentials, but because of the wind and rain, I was content to watch a Craftsy class and try to finish an Afghan....it was a day of relaxation, peace and thankfulness.

    Your meals look so yummy!

Thank you for sharing your day with us..

  4. What a joy to come and visit with you Teresa! Such a lovely Saturday you had, and oh I could feel the joy and contentment in your post as you shared the sweet simple loveliness of the day! Your breakfast is our kind of breakfast here too... nothing like biscuits and gray with farm fresh eggs! I loved your salad, the pictures you took are amazing. And the homemade lemonade - yum! I love your house, it is so beautiful and simple in design. I also spotted a Pioneer Woman plate... love love LOVE her style! I haven't bought any of her line yet, but I do have it on my wish list!

Have a blessed day today Teresa, spring indeed is in the air! :)
