20 Years of Home-Schooling

Our school year has been going good this year. We have had a few things to come up to knock us off track. But we have learned not to stress over the small things and keep on going!

This is my 20th year to home-school!  I should be a pro or a veteran at this. But really, I don't feel like either of those.  I am just thankful that God has provided for us to keep on home schooling each year. I love having my kids home and I believe this has always been His will for us to do.  20 years has proven that over and over.  We have peace in our hearts about homeschooling.

If you home school enjoy this precious time with each of your kiddo's. Let God do His work and leave the outcome to Him. The most important thing is to live in harmony with the Lord and with our kids.

Homeschooling has been my life, by the time our youngest graduates I will have 29 years in homeschooling. Shew!  I don't even want to think how old I will be.  Let's not even go there! LOL

Moving on, we hope to be out of school by the first part of May!

How is school going for you and your home?  I hope the rest of your year in school is a great one!!

Back To School

A few pictures of our first day in school.

My teacher's desk!

Daily folders are in place, one for each student.
~ Each week I will place the test and quizzes in the folders, under the day they will be giving.
This saves time and helps our day to run smoothly.

Our 100 Days of School calendar is up and ready for the count down.  We have a little celebration on the 100th day of school for all of our hard work. On day 85 we are half way through our school year.  Day 47 will be another celebration for a special day. 💕

Happy Homeschooling!

Very Proud of Our Daughter

Last year in 7th grade our daughter Doodle (nickname) did great on her Iowa testing, scoring some in college levels.  She was on the honor roll all year long.

This year she knocks it out of the park!!  She just completed eight grade while staying on the honor roll all year long. (keeping straight A's)  We just received her Iowa Testing scores back.

She has college levels in all her subjects and 10, 12 grade and college level in Math.  We are so very proud of her!!

She has already requested to take Orchestra as her elective this fall, I believe she can do it!

Hugs from the farmhouse.
