Hospitality As A Woman

As a women, our hearts should reflect the heart of Christ
by living our lives day to day in Christ's love and in His Word.
Not only read His word, but to live out the word in our homes.

The home reflects the heart of the woman.
Our family needs to see that sweetness
and grace in our hearts and in our speech.
Hospitality in our homes, teaches our children
how to serve others, and care about others.

As woman we need to inspire, and encourage our
husbands, to be that godly man.
There is nothing more powerful than to see
our husbands being a leader, a protector,
and being full of God's Spirit leading his home.

Keep your home simple with grace.
Keep your home organized, it's okay if your home
gets disorganized occasionally, but we must
bring it back into order after a short period of time.
God is a God of order, and He wants us to be ready to serve others.

When God sends someone into your path
to show them biblical hospitality, you will be ready.

Be inspired!

Hospitality The Ministry

Opening our homes to be a ministry unto the Lord.

What ever we do~ hospitality is to encourage others, that is to be our goal and our purpose.
How can we make others to feel special?
How can we make them feel loved by God and us?
How can we make them feel encouraged, and needed?

Hospitality is the most powerful way to change the world, by each one reaching one.
A Relationship that will be built on Jesus Christ.

Hospitality is a light to the world,
because we are being that sweet example of our Savior,
to that person God puts in to our paths.

Hospitality is founded on being a good  steward,
of the things God has blessed us with in our homes.

We are to be a good steward of time, our money, our home,
our salvation, our children, our spouse, to our church, and more.
We want to give all back to the Lord for use and His Glory.

What we have are tools that God gives us to blessed others with.
It could be your talents to sew, to garden, to teach, to mother, to cook, to love.
Your kindness, your home, your family what ever the Lord has blessed
you with, give it all back to Him for the use of His Glory.

Give to the Lord your resource, by saying, " Lord what we have it is all yours,
use it Lord to your glory."

Through hospitality we can change our culture in our families,
in the community, and in our very own church.

Let the Lord stretch you, don't be afraid to be use by Him.
A good place to start is to learn principles of stewardship.

Seek for the things of God,

Hospitality Is and Isn't

Hospitality isn't about what we have; it is about who we are.

It isn't about a perfect home.
It is never about you or your family being perfect.

Is not about what you own.
It isn't about what size home you own or rent.
There will always be repairs that need to be done; that is just life.
I have found that people aren't coming to see those things anyway.

It isn't about being or acting a certain way.
Reality is saying ~ Hey, come on in we are in the middle of
a project! Please make yourself at home while we finish this.
Chances are they may jump in and enjoy helping you.

Sadly, many families has no idea what a real
christian home looks like.

It is about the fellowship and sweetness.
It is about relationships.
It is about relationship with Christ,
with our family and with those that
God brings into our lives.

Be available, be willing, be flexible to be used by Him.
No matter how imperfect we are, He can use us.

Be prepared for the unexpected.
Waiting on the Lord and seeing what He
sends or brings to your home.

Its not only in our homes, but when we reach out to others in need
in their homes.  By preparing a meal or an dessert,
while sharing our faith, time and fellowship with them!

Isn't it good to know that God will use an imperfect home and
an imperfect family?  All we need to do is just be willing and available.
