Autumn Reflections

Fall has found its way into our farmhouse.

Each season, and each day is ordered by God.

Cable knit sweaters
Hunter boots
Apple cider
Fall leaves
Cozy Fires

God brings us the beauty of Autumn, and reminds us that change will come,
and that He is with us.

Wishing you the loveliest fall day.

A Rainy Day At The Farmhouse

We  needed the rain, so thankful it came this way.

Rainy days are great for baking!

Little  La La (nickname)  is making her very first pumpkin roll.

She is doing a great job!
After baking it for 15 minutes, its time to roll it up, and let it cool.

What a great job she did, for her very first try at making a pumpkin roll.

A Merry Little Christmas...

Flour dust, cookie dough and sprinkles grace the counter tops, while our sweet little daughters watch the sugar cookies bake through the oven doors.   The timer goes off and out comes a tray of sugar cookies made by little hands.  The farmhouse table is filled with racks of sugar cookies cooling, sprinkles of red, and green is shaken across the cookies and onto the table.  Our little puppy stands looking up, waiting for clumsy little hands to drop a cookie or two.   Slow days don't come by chance here at our little farmhouse, we create them.

FOR UNTO YOU IS BORN IN THE
CITY OF DAVID A SAVIOUR ,
WHICH IS
CHRIST THE LORD!

Merry CHRISTmas, From the Farmhouse.

O Christmas Tree

Each year we love going to a  Christmas Farm and cut down a tree.
It has became a family tradition, that we look forward to.

The girls decorated the tree , and to me it is perfect.

The white roping is made from white yarn, a little something handmade for the tree.

It's about Jesus, it's about giving.

Act 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

O GIVE THANKS

source

O Give Thanks unto the Lord:
Call upon his name:
Make known his deeds among the people.
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him:
Talk ye of all His wondrous works.
Glory ye in His Holy Name:
Let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
Seek the Lord, and his strength:
 Seek His face evermore.
Remember His marvellous work that he hath done;
Psalm 105:1-5

Have a Blessed and Wonderful Thanksgiving.

Reflection

Making do with what we have while finding contentment.  Counting our blessings and thinking on the Greatness of our Lord.

Reflect (pause) and reflect again on life's little things that bring us so much happiness in our hearts and to our homes.

Happy Fall!

A day at the Farmhouse

An entire day spent at home. No other place I would rather be then at home.

Once upon a farmhouse
