Vintage Farmhouse Step Stool

This farmhouse stool dates back to the early 1900's...

This old stool used to belong to my husband grandmother.
One of my favorite pieces.

  1. What a great thing to have! I do like vintage farmhouse. I don't have much, but if I ever have an old farmhouse (a girl can dream, right ;)) that is the look I would go for. Anyway, I think you might be happier if you make it match your current decor. If not I think I might feel that it was out of place. Have fun with your project!

    1. I hope one day you find an farmhouse of your dream Wendi! I always wanted to live in a farmhouse again. I did as a child and loved it. My hubby doesn't want too..bc of the updating and up keep of an old house. I do like the red and white. If I had a Hoosier cabinet that is white with red trim. I may would keep it the original color.
      Have to wait and see.

Be careful when you sand in case it does have lead. :)

    1. Oh, Stacey thank you for the heads up on that. I haven't thought of the risk of creating dust ( of lead ) that is while sanding.
