A day at the Farm House

All of you be subject one to another and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.  I Peter 5:5

  1. Oh, I love the pictures in this post! Sweet summer play time. :) We used to gather honeysuckle, too. I may have to resurrect that activity soon. Our garden is doing well, just slowly starting to come alive. My herbs have grown like crazy, though.

  2. We have a lot of honeysuckle on our property too. However, we aren't quite sure how to tell when it's ready. We've been plucking them and then no sap. I don't think ours is quite ready. I love your blog. I think your right, the simple life is way better than a fast paced one where you are too busy to enjoy the moments and soak up the day. My boys and I LOVE our front porch. We also like to swing when it's raining. Until it thunders and then they are running to go in. Our garden is doing well. We have red clay with rock here in West Virginia so it's hard to grow in that type of dirt, but we manage.
